When I was younger, I also make fun of them. Laugh at them, say things like they are over-reacting, they are girls for God sake, they should be more firm and classy, etc. Words like that. But years later, I experienced to be a fan girl and I am still right now. I am proud and can say that there are so much more than being JUST a fan girl.
People who wants to improve their communication skill can start from being a fan girl. Fan girling is like doing extraordinary things just to get information, updates and even make an article for your idol. Fan girls are all friendly. They have a wide connections. I have met many fan girls who are naturally shy and quiet but because of fangirling, they learn to be active, vocal and friendly. Also, one thing that a fangirl is best of, is RESEARCH. Along with their connections, they are good in researching, investigating and understanding mysteries/issues. Because of these, ordinary girls became confident and more open to what they feel and perceive.
So, no one can say that fangirling is just wasting time because there are so much help that fangirling gives to those fan girls just like me.
